It was in the 1960s when Bayawan finally had its first Rizal Monument with Felix Gaudiel, Sr a famous freemason, pioneer member of the Order of the Knights of Rizal, and Law Educator did the Fundraising to build the monument together with the Martinez, Pinili, Villamil,Tangente and the Gaudiel family with the help of the UCCP Church
During the leadership of the City Mayor German Pinili Sarana made the new facelift of the Rizal Park and the new home of the Rizal Monument.
Last Aug 8,2021 Wreath Laying at Dr. Jose Rizal's monument during the momentous Knighting, Chartering, and Exalting Ceremonies of the Order of Knights of Rizal Bayawan City Chapter led by Sir Knights Rusmar Tijing,KCR Chapter Commander and Sir Kenneth Artes ,KOR Deputy Chapter Commander.
